Bérangère Mc Neese

Biography

Berangere Mc Neese is a Belgian and American actress and director. Her acting career begins as a child. Since then, she has played in various French and Belgian feature films. She played Danny Boon’s daughter in “Eyjafjallajokull”, and Zabou Breitman’s daughter in “Belle comme la femme d’un autre”. She has also played in various short films and TV series. In 2017, she was one of the two leads in “The Rape” by Alain Tasma (France 3), and stared in the comedy TV shows “Like Moi” (France 4), “Le roi de la vanne” (Canal+) appeared in various feature films such as “Photo de famille” by Cécilia Rouaud, “Noise” by Jeremy Laval, in “Air Comprimé”, a short film by Antoine Giorgini, preselected to the César, and in the last series of Unité 42, a Belgian TV series, among others. She will be starring in the English film “Skinwalker”, first feature film by Christian Neuman. She is currently playing in another French series.
In 2015, she wrote, directed and produced her first short film, “The sleep of the amazons”, which travelled and received awards across the world. Her second film, “Pure Bodies”, co-written, co-directed and co-produced by Guillaume de Ginestel followed the same path. “Matriochkas” is her third short film. It has been awarded three times at the Brussels Short Film Festival and obtained numerous prizes. Among others, it was selected by the International Film Festival of Clermont Ferrand and awaeded by a Magritte for Best Short film. Bérangère is also currently in the process of writing her first feature film.
