Honorary César

12th César Ceremony

Thanks to the "professionals in the profession"

Sean Connery presides over the evening animated by a plethora of Hosts of Ceremony: Michel Drucker, Michel Denisot, Pierre Tchernia, Henry Chapier, Patrick Poivre d'Arvor, Frédéric Mitterrand, Claude-Jean Philippe. Jean-Luc Godard receives a César d'Honneur and gives a speech that has become cult. Another posthumous César d'Honneur is awarded to Jean Gabin, who died a few months earlier.

March 7, 1987 at the Palais des Congrès.
Directed by Maurice Dugowson.
Broadcast on Antenne 2.
