Zacharias Kunuk

Biography

Zacharias Kunuk produced and directed the first ever feature film to be written and shot entirely in Inuktitut, Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner. The film won the Camera D’or at Cannes. It was the highest-grossing film in Canada for 2002, named by the Toronto International Film Festival as one of the ten best Canadian films of all time.
