Sofia Carrillo

Biography

Graduated in Arts and Audiovisual University in Guadalajara, Sofia Carrillo was granted a scolarship to direct her first 33mm short movie : “Vertigo”. Her third short, “Prita Noire”, was awarded the silver Ariel for best animated short film 2012, Best Animated Latinoamerican short film in Chilemonos (Chile 2012), Best Animated Shortfilm ex aequo in Festival de Cine de Morelia 2011) and Best Animated Short film in San Diego Latino Film Festival (San Diego E.U. 2011).
