Radu Jude

Biography

Radu Jude was born in Romania in 1977. In 2003, he graduated the Media University of Bucharest in the  Film Directing Department. He worked as an assistant director for feature films like Amen by Costa-Gavras. He directed several short films selected in over 30 festivals, including Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand, San Francisco…. Jude also directed about 100 advertising commercials. He received in February 2015 the Silver bear for Best Director Aferim! at the Berlinale.
