Patty Stenger

Biography

Patty Stenger, screenwriter and director, starts her career in the theater and television world as an actress and screenwriter. For five years she has been creative director at the youth theater group Maccus. In addition to this, she also writes music theater productions and has been a regular screenwriter for ten years for the children’s program Sesame Street. The she decides to take the first step within the field of cinema. She becomes a creative producer and partner at Signum. This is the beginning of a successful career with over a hundred commissioned films. Her films have won many awards. In 2000, Patty Stenger sets up her own commissioned film company called ‘Zee’. At the moment Patty Stenger writes for television series Maud and Babs that will premiere in the beginning of 2021 on Dutch television, broadcasted by AVROTROS.
