Biography

Graduate of The Sam Spiegel Film & TV School in Jerusalem, Or Sinai produces, directs and is the operative conductor of her first short documentary Violetta Mi Vida (2012). She has been awarded many times, including the Bernstein Prize at the Jerusalem Film Festival and the Silver Nanook Prize for Discovery of New Topics and New Heroes at the Flahertiana Film Festival 2013 and for the originality of her script and characters at the Flahertiana Film Festival 2013. She wrote and directed the film Two, selected in several international festivals and has been alumni of the Berlinale Talent 2015.In 2016, her short film Anna, winner of the First Prize of the Cinefondation (Cannes Film Festival), the Best Short Film Award of the Israeli Film and Television Academy, the First Prize of the Tel Aviv Film Festival and a Special Mention at the Toronto International Film Festival. All her works address the question of women and marginality with sensitivity.
