Omar Deneb Juárez

Biography

Omar Deneb Juárez Vargas was born on October 21st, 1989. He studied film making at Universidad de Medios Audiovisuales in Guadalajara. In 2013, he directed Jonás ; a short awarded Best Short Film Prize at Colima’s Film Festival that same year. In 2014 he directed TV Boy, his second short film. He is currently working on the post-production of his fourth short film A Song for Mary. Omar is particularly keen on working on real-life screenplays inspired by newspaper articles or day life stories.
