Michael Lennox

Biography

Michael grew up in Northern Ireland and from an early age had a passion for storytelling. In 2008, his first short film, Rip and the Preacher, was selected by the British Council to tour over twenty festivals worldwide. In 2010, he got into the National Film and Television School (NFTS) for a Master of Arts in Fiction Directing Course where he made The Back of Beyond, screened as part of the BAFTA NFTS Stars of Tomorrow event and won the Premio Pianific prize at Locarno Film Festival 2012. He is currently making his first feature film, Patch of Fog.
