Mauricio Osaki
Biography
Mauricio Osaki was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where he started his career directing short films and working in feature projects as an assistant editor in major film companies. In 2010 Mauricio was accepted at NYU MFA in film production. While at Tisch, Mauricio directed the award-winning film “My Father’s Truck” which premiered in the 63rd Berlinale Film Festival and has since won more than 20 international prizes in major film festivals around the world. He currently lives in Beijing where he works in his NYU thesis while developing a feature film script.
