Marie Amachoukeli

Biography

When she studied screenwriting at La Fémis, Marie Amachoukeli met Claire Burger, an editing student. Together, they made the short Forbach which received the Grand Prize of the Festival of Clermont-Ferrand 2009 and the Second Prize Cinefondation at Cannes 2008. In 2009, the two filmmakers collaborate again for C’est gratuit pour les filles.
