Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad

Biography

Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad, born in 1990, is a director and writer living in Oslo. She studied at Nordland College of Art and Film, in the class of 2013. She directed several short films; My Sister, The Man is a Murderer, How Dramatic and Space Oddity, among others. Earlier, she directed a play for theatre and wrote two feature film scripts. Liv received the Engebret Artist Grant in 2017 and won the Amanda Award for Best Norwegian Short Film in 2017. She is currently working on a web-serie. She is also a partner in Barbosa Film, a company producing films of inspiring new talents with a focus on female artists.
