Konstantina Kotzamani

Biography

Born in Komoni, Konstantina Kotzamani is graduated of the Department of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki. Her short films have been selected and awarded in several international festivals. Washingtonia was screened at the Berlinale 2014 Shorts Competition and awarded by The Hellenic Film Academy for Best Short Film. It is also nominated as Best Feature Film at the European Film Academy 2015 (EFA Award). Konstanna Kotzamani has been selected to present Washingtonia as part of the “Future Frames” selection at the 50th Karlovy Vary Film Festival (CZ), which presents the works of young talented filmmakers as part of their studies. In 2015, her short film, Yellow Fieber (2015) was screened at the International Festival of Locarno, in the section Pardi di Domani. Her last short film Limbo (2016), was premiered at Cannes in 2016 as part of the Semaine de la Critique.
