Kamile Milasiute

Biography

Kamile Milašiute was born in 1990 in Vilnius, Lithuania. After graduating of Vilnius “Versmes” integrated Catholic High School and jazz piano class in the music school, Kamile studied theater management in Lithuania Academy of Music and Theater and worked at alternative street theater festivals in Lithuania and Portugal. One year after, she studied Film Directing in Lithuania Music and Theater Academy. For her third year, Kamile studied in Porto School of Arts. In addition to her filmmaker career, Kamile has also organized cinema projects for people with mental and physical disabilities. Her first short film After Rave was nominated for the Sidabrine Gerve Award for the Best Student Short Film in 2015.
