Juergen Heimüller

Biography

Jürgen Heimüller is originally actor and musician, born 1967 in Nuremberg. While loving to be on stage or in front of a camera (current project: leading role in “Kora” – the upcoming feature film by Urs Odermatt), he cannot keep the hands from writing and directing his own projects. He started shooting his first scenes in 2015. “Flower Pot” (2016) was his first short to be presented on festivals. In May 2017 he won the third prize on the SMS-Festival of the Munich Filmfest with “What we dream of“. His one-taker “The Last Five Minutes of the World“ won the German Short Film Award 2019. He lives in Berlin and Nuremberg.
