Jarryd Coetsee

Biography

Jarryd Coetsee is a South African screenwriter/filmmaker. He was born in Pretoria and holds a MA Degree in Screenwriting from the London Met Film School, based at Ealing Studios, where he studied on the Voices That Matter Scholarship and a scholarship from the Oppenheimer Memorial Trust. Jarryd also holds a MA Degree in English Studies (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch and a BA (Hons) Degree in Film Studies from UCT. Prior to this, he studied filmmaking at AFDA in Cape Town. The Suit is his first professional film.
