Jae-Hyun Yoo

Biography

The filmaker career of Jaehyun Yoo is quite unconventional. When depressed by the fact that he should be good at math to be a pilot, his father subscribed for a movie magazine for him. Fortunately, to make movies, he didn’t have to be good at math. He then entered the department of film studies in 2009. His goal is to make movies clear enough that his grand-father understand them. He has made several short films : Deep Purple, The mistake, Standby, The photographers, and Wake up which have been screened at various film festivals around the world.
