Hector Herrera

Biography

Hector Herrera is born in Juarez (Mexico) and lives in Toronto. With over 12 years experience in broadcast design, Hector has created work for a diverse range of clients that include Cartoon Network, BBC, and David Cronenberg. He co-founded Together: Words+Pictures for Art & Culture where he develops, directs and creates posters and animations. Hector is also an instructor in the Illustration program at the Ontario College Of Art and Design where he teaches digital mixed media illustration techniques and Illustrated Activism. Over the course of several years he directed a 2D animation series named Beastly Bards. The Ballad of Immortal Joe is the third episode in the series.
