Hardik Mehta

Biography

Hardik Mehta is an independent filmmaker (documentary and fiction).After studying communication and directing he started a career as a script and assistant director on fictional feature films: Road Movie by Dev Benegal, Lootera by Vikramaditya Motwane, Queen by Vikas Bahl. He has also been second assistant director on the documentary Sachin: A Billion Dreams by James Erskine.His first short fiction film, Skin Deep, has been screened in theaters in 2014 as part of a three-course program under the name : Chaar Cutting. His first short documentary, Amdavad Ma Famous, has been selected at several festivals around the world including the Hots Docs (Canada) or the Palm Spring Fest. He also wrote two films for the production company Phantom Films. He is now working on his first feature film.
