Biography

Guy Nattiv is an acclaimed filmmaker from Israel. His first American feature film, « Skin », stars Jamie Bell and Vera Farmiga and premiered at the 2018 TIFF where it won the Fipresci Critic’s Prize. Premiered in Europe at The Berlin IFF in 2019, it was acquired by A24 for distribution. Based on the true story of Bryon Widner, a notorious white supremacist who goes through extensive surgeries to remove Neo-Nazi tattoos in order to reform. The feature is derived short film also entitled « Skin » awarded by the Academy Awards in 2019.In Israël, his first feature film, « Strangers », has been awarded in more than 20 festivals worldwilde, including Locarno, short-listed for the Academy Awards and in competition at the Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals in 2008. His second feature, « The Flood », won a special prize at the Berlin IFF in 2012 and was nominated for six Israeli Academy Awards where it won Best Actor.
