Giuseppe-Marco Albano

Biography

Born in Cisternino in Italy 1985, Giuseppe Marco Albano studied at the International Academy for the Arts and the Science of Images for one year before attending the University of Parma where he studied literature and philosophy. In 2008 he founded with other collaborators “Basiliciak”, with the intention of promoting the Lucan Cinema, the cinema of his region. Then he wrote and directed The Cute Hat, short film selected in many international film festivals : from the Golden Globes to Giffoni Film Festival. Followed by Xie Zi (2009) and Stand by Me (2010). He made his feature film debut in 2011 with One Sunday Night. Then he came back to shorts with AnnA, Premio Troisi of Best Italian emergent Director. Thriller is his last short film.
