Icelandic born Elfar Adalsteins is an award winning screenwriter and director. . His short film Sailcloth, starring world renowned actor John Hurt, was selected onto the prestigious 2012 Academy Awards (Oscar®) shortlist for Best Live Action Short Film and has also been awarded accolades during prestigious international festivals.Elfar runs his production company, Berserk Films, out of Los Angeles, California.
