Daniel Mulloy

Biography

Graduated in 2001, Daniel Mulloy studied fine arts in London and New York. As a director he won four BAFTA awards in the short film category, including his first film Dance Floor (2003), then Sister (2005), Antonio’s Breakfast (2006) and Home this year. Selected in major international film festivals, his shorts films Antonio’s Breakfast, Dad (2008) and Baby (2011) have premiered at Sundance Film Festival whereas Son (2009) received the Jury’s Grand Prize at the Slamdance. Mulloy’s short films have won more than 100 awards in festivals such as BAFTA, BIFA and two nominations at the European Film Academy Award and the ARTE Grand Prix in Hamburg and the Tamashi Award in Tokyo for Sister (2005).
