Clara Stern

Biography

Clara Stern was born in 1987 in Vienna, Austria. She studied directing and screenplay writing at the Film Academy Vienna and at the University of Music and Performing Arts. From childhood, she started writing short stories. She shooted her first short film at 18 years old. In 2009, she also participated in a screenplay program with the Filmakademie. She won the BKA Scholarship and the Carl Mayer Screenplay Award of the city of Graz, 2016 and 2018. She has directed several short films: documentaries and fictions.
