Axel Ranisch

Biography

Axel Ranisch was born in 1983 in Berlin. He studied Directing at the university of Film and Television „Konrad Wolf“. In 2011 he founded his first production company SEHR GUTE FILME with his film-mates Anne Baeker, Heiko Pinkowski and Dennis Pauls. Axel Ranisch is active as a director, writer, actor and media educator. “Dicke Mädchen” was completed in just three months, from the original idea to the finished film. The dialogues were improvised.In order to attain the greatest amount of creative freedom and authenticity, the films was intentionally shot without a crew and film team and with a simple Mini DV camera.
