Annika Karlsson

Biography

Annika and Jessica Karlsson (sisters b. 1984) directed and produced the short documentary “Taxidancing” which screened at Tempo Film Festival in Stockholm 2012 and was shown in Swedish cinemas the same year. Their first feature film “Loving Lorna” (2017) was nominated for a Crystal Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival and was selected to the mid-length competition at Hot Docs International Film Festival 2017. It was also nominated in the category Best Documentary at Prix Europa Award.”A Legacy of Horses” is their third film and premiered at IDFA 2019.
