Andrei Crețulescu
Biography
Born in 1974 in Bucarest, Andrei Cre?ulescu starts out as a movie critic before producing a television series and nine documentaries for HBO Romania. In 2011 he creates Kinosseur, a production company which enables him to direct Kowalski and Bad Penny for which he received many awards including best director in the 2015 European Film Festival in Lille. Ramona, his third short, is met with great praise, particularly at the 2015 Cannes Semaine de la Critique where he receives the Canal+ Award. He has just finished his fourth short and will shoot his first feature film Charlton Heston during the summer which he had submitted at the Coproductions Village at the Festival des Arcs in december of 2015.
