Myung-sun has had a simple yet not unhappy life, for years operating her tiny one-woman factory in Changsin-dong sewing alley. She has seen her beautifully crafted clothes on television stars, raised a smart and independent daughter, and built a life for herself. Now, after years toiling at her too often unseen labour, her eyesight is worsening, and her friends are moving on. Will she retire ?
