Synopsis

In the seventies of the previous century, in a small village in what was then East Germany a woman artist emerged.Her name was Johanna Kaiser, and she was already over sixty years old. Johana Kaiser was self-taught. She painted exuberant fantasy flowers that seemed to explode from their frames, and dreamy landscapes that expressed a never satisfied yearning for faraway places. A feeling the German call “Immer Fernweh”.
