What is the Collection?
It is a special program screened in twenty cities in France to discover the favorites of the cinemas participating in the event, selected among all the short films awarded during the year by the Film Academies around the world.

The Nuits en Or Cinema Operators Committee
The Collection is made up by the Nuits en Or Operators Committee.
These are the operators (directors, programmers, etc.) of French cinemas wishing to screen the Collection.
Each year, the Committee chooses 7 to 8 films which will constitute the Nuits en Or Collection, among the short films awarded by Film Academies from around the world listed by the Académie des César. The two short films awarded at the César Ceremony are automatically included in this selection.
