César & Techniques Special Award 2016

The César & Techniques Special Award was created in 2015 to reward a French company providing technical services in the film industry, which the Committee wanted to recognize the exceptional nature of the company’s achievements over the past year.

The winner

TITRA FILMS and its Managing Director, Sophie Frilley, have been awarded the 2016 César & Techniques Special Award.
TITRA FILMS is a subtitling company that has been in existence for 80 years and strives to stay in touch with the latest technological developments. Over the years, it has become a worldwide reference in its sector of activity.

The committee

The Technical Industries Committee chooses the company that wins the Cesar & Techniques Special Award from among French companies providing technical services in the film industry with more than 50 permanent jobs.
It is composed of a Chairman, President of the FICAM, two members of the Board of Directors of the Academy specializing in technical professions, 11 directors and managers of Industries Techniques, and an observer from Groupe Audiens, a partner of the César & Techniques Evening.
