9th César Ceremony

Tie for Best Picture

This year, Gene Kelly presides over the Ceremony and Monica Vitti, Pierre Richard, Brigitte Fossey, Macha Meryl and Léon Zitrone are the Hosts of Ceremony. Maurice Pialat's À nos amours and Ettore Scola's Le bal both won the César for Best Film. This is the first tie so far in this category.
